10.35.2. Steering transfer with the amplifier of steering

Prevention

At installation it is necessary to use new bolts of fastening of a clip of steering transfer to a partition of a motor compartment and connecting plates bolts of fastening of steering thirsts for steering transfer.

At connection of pipelines it is necessary to use new sealing rings.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. On models with the engine with карбюрато rum remove the air filter. On a part of models for access to the right clip of fastening of steering transfer unscrew bolts, the fixing broad tanks and the main brake cylinder.
3. Establish forward wheels in situation for the movement directly forward.
4. Disconnect hoses on the left side of steering transfer and close a hose and an opening for a hose suitable traffic jams.
5. In order that it was possible to remove steering transfer, remove the relay block on the left side of a motor compartment.
6. Using a screw-driver edge as the lever, remove the fixing plate from heads of the bolts fixing steering thirst for steering transfer, then unscrew bolts and remove washers and a plate.
7. If steering transfer has the shock-absorber, unscrew the bolts fixing a clip of steering transfer and remove the shock-absorber.
8. Remove the lower panel of finishing in deepening for the driver's legs.
9. On models with adjustment of a tilt angle of a steering column move a steering column to the top situation.
10. Unscrew tightening the bolt fixing the elastic coupling to a steering shaft.
11. In a motor compartment unscrew bolts, the fixing two clips of steering transfer to a partition of a motor compartment, then on the left side take steering transfer. Keep in mind that on some models wires and hoses which before removal of steering transfer need to be disconnected can be attached to steering transfer.
12. It is not recommended to make independently repair of steering transfer with the amplifier of steering.
13. For elimination of leaks in junctions of hydraulic tubes it is enough to replace sealing rings.
14. It is independently possible to replace the protection cover of steering transfer.
15. You do not make adjustment of the steering mechanism with the amplifier of steering.

Installation

Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal taking into account the next moments...

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a gear lath of steering transfer to the central situation. For this purpose count the speed of a shaft of steering transfer on which it is necessary to turn a shaft for movement of a gear lath from one extreme situation in another. Turn a shaft of steering transfer from extreme situation on a half of the counted turns therefore the gear lath will be established precisely on the center.
2. For fastening of clips of steering transfer to a partition of a motor compartment, it is necessary to use new bolts.
3. At installation it is necessary to use the new fixing plate which is established on heads of bolts of fastening of steering drafts.
4. Connect the elastic coupling to a steering shaft, at the same time top tightening the bolt of the elastic coupling has to settle down horizontally.
5. Connect hoses with new sealing rings to steering transfer.
6. Fill in fresh liquid in гидравличес I forge system of the amplifier of steering and remove air from system.
