10.9. Forward stabilizer of cross stability


Prevention

At installation it is necessary to use the new nuts fixing the stabilizer of cross resistance to the lower lever of a forward suspension bracket.


Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Using special adaptation, support the engine and lift a forward part of the car.
2. Remove a reception exhaust pipe.
3. Working under the car, unscrew nuts, the fixing ends of the stabilizer of cross resistance to the lower levers. Remove dish-shaped washers and rubber pillows.
4. Check reliability of support of the engine, then unscrew two nuts fixing back fastening of a support of the power unit to the lower forward frame.
5. Support by a jack through wooden whetstone the lower forward frame.
6. Unscrew two back and two central bolts which fix the lower frame to the car bottom. Keep in mind that back bolts also fix the lower levers to the lower frame.
7. Weaken, but do not unscrew completely two bolts fixing the lower frame to the car bottom.
8. Being careful, lower the lower frame and unscrew bolts of fastening of the stabilizer. Then unscrew the forward bolts fixing the lower frame to the car bottom.
9. Separate the stabilizer of cross stability from the lower forward frame and the lower levers and take it from under the car.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. On some models in the center of the stabilizer of cross stability the quencher of fluctuations is established (see rice. If the new stabilizer of cross stability is installed, remove a quencher of fluctuations from the old stabilizer and establish on new.
2. If necessary replace adjusting plugs of the stabilizer of cross stability.
3. Further installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal taking into account the next moments.
4. Connect the ends of the stabilizer of cross stability to the lower levers, at the same time dish-shaped washers, the fixing rubber pillows, have to be directed by the concave party to the lower lever.
5. Establish a pin of the spherical hinge of the lower lever in a rotary fist and fix by a nut, having tightened it the required moment. Using the new forelock, record a nut from unscrewing.
6. Tighten all nuts and bolts the required moment, at the same time back bolts of fastening of the lower forward frame to the bottom of the car have to be tightened in several stages.
7. Establish a reception exhaust pipe.
8. Lower the car on wheels and tighten bolts of fastening of wheels the required moment.
