10:12. Replacement of the bearing of a back wheel (the SOHC model till 1993)
Prevention
At installation it is necessary to use a new sealing ring of a nave.
Removal of a sealing ring from the inside of a nave on models with back disk brakes
If at rotation the bearing publishes extraneous noise and has the increased side play, it needs to be replaced. The nave of a back wheel is established on two conic roller bearings, and at wear of one bearing it is necessary to replace also the second bearing.
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Remove a nave of a back wheel. |
2. If the internal ring of the external bearing remained in a nave, using the screw-driver, remove it |
3. From the inside of a nave remove a sealing ring and take an internal ring of the internal bearing (see the drawing). |
4. Fix a nave in a vice with soft sponges and a copper drift beat out external rings of bearings from a nave. At the same time establish a drift evenly around in order to avoid a bearing distortion.
Prevention
At knocking-out of bearings be careful that there were no zaboina on a bearing seat in a nave.
|
5. Clear a nest for the bearing in a nave and, using an emery paper, remove all agnails. |
6. Establish new external rings of bearings by cones outside. Using a tubular mandrel of the corresponding diameter, press rings of bearings in a nave. At the same time be careful not to warp a ring as there can be their jamming and destruction. |
7. Grease rings of bearings with lithium lubricant and the same lubricant fill space between bearings. |
8. Establish an internal ring of the internal bearing into place and grease a working edge of a new sealing ring and establish it into place with use of a tubular mandrel to a sootvetstvo of yushchy diameter. |
9. Establish a nave and adjust a hug bearing side play. |
