10:31. Replacement of the elastic coupling of a shaft of steering transfer

Arrangement of the top tightening bolt fixing the elastic coupling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish forward wheels in situation for the movement directly forward.
2. In a motor compartment weaken bolts of fastening of steering transfer.
3. In interior of the car remove the lower panel of finishing in deepening for the driver's legs.
4. Unscrew two tightening bolts fixing the elastic coupling (see the drawing).
5. Move the elastic coupling up and remove it a shaft of steering transfer.
6. Before installation of the elastic coupling check installation of steering transfer and steering wheel.
7. Install the elastic coupling and screw in tightening bolts, but do not tighten them finally at this stage.
8. Press the elastic coupling and screw up the required moment lower tightening a bolt.
9. Tighten the required moment bolts of fastening of steering transfer.
10. Move a steering shaft up to an emphasis and tighten top tightening a bolt of the elastic coupling.
11. Establish the lower finishing of the dashboard in deepening for the driver's legs.
