5.2.28. Fuel nozzles (except Multec)

Prevention

At installation of fuel nozzles it is necessary to use new sealing rings. For check of fuel mix on single turns it is necessary to use a tachometer and the analyzer of exhaust gases.

Removal

Unscrewing of external bolts of fastening of the fuel highway

Unscrewing of internal bolts of fastening of the fuel highway

Removal of the fuel highway from an inlet collector on the SOHC model

Extraction of a bracket of fixing of a fuel nozzle

Extraction of a fuel nozzle from the fuel highway on the SOHC models

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Unscrew a connecting nut and remove a vacuum hose of the vacuum amplifier of brakes from an inlet collector.
3. Remove the regulator of turns of idling together with hoses.
4. Disconnect a vacuum tube from the fuel pressure regulator.
5. Disconnect a casing of a plait of wires from fuel nozzles and move it aside, without pulling a wire. Squeeze brackets of fastening and, having pulled a casing of wires on themselves, disconnect electric sockets from fuel nozzles.
Unscrew four bolts fixing the fuel highway to an inlet kollekto ру and raise the fuel highway together with nozzles that it was possible to remove nozzles. At the same time do not stretch fuel hoses (see rice. For removal of a fuel nozzle from the fuel highway, using a screw-driver edge, remove a metal bracket of fixing and take a fuel nozzle from the fuel highway (see rice. Extraction of a bracket of fixing of a fuel nozzle, Extraction of a fuel nozzle from the fuel highway on the SOHC models).

Installation

Installation of a new sealing ring on a fuel nozzle

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If the fuel nozzle failed, replace it as repair of fuel nozzles is not provided.
2. Establish new sealing rings from two parties of a fuel nozzle (see rice. Installation of a new sealing ring on a fuel nozzle). Even if only one fuel nozzle was removed, replace sealing rings on all fuel nozzles.
3. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. Check correctness and reliability of connection of hoses, pipes and electric sockets.
4. Check and, if necessary, adjust fuel mix of idling.
