5.2.15. Pipe of a fuel-filling mouth

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Through a fuel-filling mouth pump out fuel from the fuel tank.
2. Lift the lower edge of the consolidation located around a jellied mouth and unscrew the fastening screw.
3. Lift a back part of the car and record on supports.
4. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of a pipe of a fuel-filling mouth to the car bottom. Cut connecting collars or brackets which fix other hoses to a pipe of a fuel-filling mouth. Release collars and disconnect hoses of filling of the fuel tank and ventilation from the lower end of a pipe of a fuel-filling mouth. Disconnect hoses of ventilation of small diameter from connecting couplings on the top end of a pipe.
5. Check that all elements connected to a pipe are removed or disconnected and remove a pipe of a fuel-filling mouth from under the car.
6. For check of operability of the valve interfering leak in a pipe of a fuel-filling mouth turn a pipe and fill in gasoline in the lower connecting coupling. If the valve is serviceable, gasoline should not follow on the other side of a pipe. If gasoline follows, so the valve is faulty and it is necessary to replace completely a pipe of a fuel-filling mouth.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal taking into account the next moments:

– check a condition of all hoses and collars of fastening and if necessary, replace them;
– connect hoses of ventilation of the fuel tank to connecting couplings in the top end of a pipe of a fuel-filling mouth, and also a hose from the coal filter to the top connecting coupling and the ventilation hose going from the fuel tank to the lower connecting coupling (see the drawing);
– replace all brackets and collars, the fixing hoses cut at removal to a pipe of a fuel-filling mouth;
– check that there was no leak of fuel at its filling in the fuel tank.
