5.2.13. The fuel pump installed in the fuel tank

Removal

Elements of fastening of the fuel pump

And – the electric socket;

In – the screw of fastening of a collar топливопо the giving hose;

With – an arm of fastening of the fuel pump

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Depending on model the fuel pump can be installed on kronshty not under a back part of the car or on the right side of the car about a niche for a spare wheel or before the fuel tank.
2. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
3. Prepare the corresponding capacity for collecting fuel after removal of the fuel pump.
4. Disconnect the electric socket from the fuel pump (see the drawing).
5. Using clips, press fuel hoses from two parties of the fuel pump for reduction of losses of fuel after a detachment of hoses.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Assembly and installation of the fuel pump is made in the sequence, to the return dismantling and removal of the pump taking into account the next moments:

— check correctness of installation of the fuel pump in plugs and reliability of connection of a hose;
— according to earlier made marking connect, and solder wires to the fuel pump;
— replace a sealing ring of an arm of fastening of the fuel pump;
— before a vvinchivaniye of screws of fastening of an arm of the fuel pump apply Opel No. 90485251 sealant on a carving of screws.
