5.2.11. Check of the fuel pump
During the normal operation of the fuel pump at inclusion of ignition the rumble from under a back part of the car is heard. If start of the engine is not made by a starter, the fuel pump has to be switched off approximately in 1 second. The strong noise reaching from under a back part of the car testifies to malfunction of a quencher of fluctuations of fuel. At the same time the quencher needs to be replaced.
If the fuel pump does not turn on at inclusion of ignition, check sootvt the stvuyushchy fuse and the relay of the fuel pump.
For check of operation of the fuel pump it is necessary to use the special equipment and this work it is necessary to perform at Opel service station.
