6.26. Electronic modules

HEI MODULE (MODELS 14 NV)

Removal

The module is installed on a metal plate on the left side of a motor compartment under the ignition coil.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the ignition coil.
2. Unscrew two screws and remove the module from a metal plate.
3. Before installation of the module apply a thin film of heat-conducting paste on the interfaced surface of a metal plate. At installation of the new module in a set of the module there has to be Nye's heat conductor a paste.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.

MSTS-i MODULE (MODELS 1,6 And 1,8 L)

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The module is installed on a partition of a motor compartment over steering transfer (see rice. A MSTS-i module arrangement on model of 1,6 l).
2. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
3. For improvement of access remove an air chamber from the carburetor.
4. Disconnect the electric socket from the module.
5. Unscrew two nuts and remove the module from a partition of a motor compartment.

Installation

1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.

MOTRONIC MODULE

Removal

Removal of the Motronic module on model of 2,0 l

Detachment of the electric socket from the Motronic module on model 2,0

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The module is located behind the side panel of finishing in deepening for the driver's legs.
2. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
3. Remove the side panel of finishing of deepening for the driver's legs.
4. Unscrew two screws from above and one screw from below, fixing the module and lower the module down (see rice. Removal of the Motronic module on model of 2,0 l).
5. Release the fixing bracket and disconnect the electric socket from the module (see rice. A detachment of the electric socket from the Motronic module on model 2,0).
6. Take the module from interior of the car.

Installation
