12.6. Ignition lock

Removal

Unscrewing of the screw of fastening of the lock of ignition

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Turn a steering wheel in such situation that access to forward screws of fastening of a casing of a steering column which are closed by plastic caps opened. Using a screw-driver edge as the lever, remove plastic caps and unscrew screws.
3. Unscrew three screws from the lower party of the lower casing of a steering column, then remove the top and lower casings.
4. Insert a key into the lock of ignition and turn it in situation 2.
5. For release of a spring clamps insert a thin steel core into an opening of a casing of the lock of ignition and press a core, then extend the ignition lock cylinder for the ignition key.
6. Disconnect the electric socket from the ignition lock, then unscrew two screws and remove the ignition lock (see the drawing).
