9.24. ABS control unit

ABS-2E SYSTEM

Removal

Extraction of the ABS control unit

Detachment of the electric socket from the control unit on the ABS-2E system

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. The control unit is located under a cover in a threshold from the passenger on the right side from a seat.
3. Unscrew three screws and uncover the control unit. Keep in mind that two screws are closed by plastic caps.
4. Take the control unit from an aperture, then release clamps and disconnect the electric socket from the block. Take the control unit from the car (see rice. Extraction of the ABS control unit, the Detachment of the electric socket from the control unit on the ABS-2E system).

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
2. Check that the control lamp of ABS dies away after start of the engine.

ABS-2EH SYSTEM

Removal

Arrangement of the control unit of the ABS-2EH system
 1 – the block with a high cover;
2 – the block with a low cover

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Uncover the hydraulic modulator.
3. Disconnect electric sockets of the electromagnetic block and a plait of wires.
4. Removal of the relay can be made only from control units with high covers (see rice. Arrangement of the control unit of the ABS-2EH system). Remove the relay of the electromagnetic block and the engine of the pump. If the control unit with a low cover is faulty, replace the block together with the relay.
5. Unscrew bolts and remove the control unit.
