5.3.3. System of repeated combustion of exhaust gases (EGR)

During the work of system of repeated combustion of exhaust gases for reduction of emission of an oxide of nitrogen in the atmosphere together with exhaust gases a part of exhaust gases via the valve of system of repeated combustion of exhaust gases comes to an inlet collector and is repeatedly burned.

On models the volume of repeatedly burned exhaust gas copes vacuum from an inlet collector via the EGR valve installed on an inlet collector with C16 NZ, C16 NZ2 and C18 NZ engines. When opening the valve exhaust gases get to an inlet collector and further are burned up in combustion chambers.

On models the ERG valve is run with X16 SZ engines by the block located on the left side of a motor compartment behind the accumulator. The block on the basis of signals of the ECU block of engine management operates the valve of recirculation of exhaust gases. At the same time exact dispensing of exhaust gases depending on power setting is provided.
