3.2.15. Oil pump

Removal

Removal of the oil pump is made in the same way, as well as on the SOHC engine (see subsection 2.28).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. If removal of the oil pump is made from the engine installed in the car, disconnect pipelines of the oil heater from the oil pump and move them aside. 2. Remove from a bent shaft промежуточ Nov a ring (see rice. Arrangement of bolts of fastening of the oil pump and arrangement of an intermediate ring of a bent shaft).

Installation

Installation of the oil pump is made in the same way, as well as on SOHC engines (see subsection 2.28).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Apply a thin film of sealant on the interfaced surface of the oil pump with an intermediate ring, then establish an intermediate ring on a bent shaft to a contact of its oil pump. 2. Establish a new gear belt. 3. Connect the pipes going from the oil heater to the oil pump.
