3.2.8. Camshafts
Prevention
At installation of camshafts use a new gear belt.

Removal
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Take off a gear belt and pulleys of camshafts. |
| 2. At removal of the camshaft operating final valves unscrew two bolts and remove to a raspreda a litel of ignition from an end face of a head of the block of cylinders. |
| 3. Check that on covers of bearings of the camshaft there are tags, and at their absence, using a punch, put tags on covers and the top part of a head of the block of cylinders. Before removal note an arrangement of covers of bearings as they have to be established in the same situation, as well as before removal (see rice. An orientation tag arrangement on a camshaft bearing cover). |
| 4. Working on a spiral outside inside, weaken covers of bearings distribute a telny shaft on a half of a turn for each pass before full unscrewing of bolts. It is necessary for gradual and uniform removal of pressure of valvate springs. Pay attention that the cover of the back bearing of the camshaft operating final the valve ми also supports the distributor of ignition and fastens four nuts (see rice. An arrangement of nuts of fastening of a back cover of the camshaft operating final valves). |
| 5. Uncover bearings to a raspreda of a litelny shaft and remove the camshaft from a head of the block of cylinders. |
| 6. Similarly remove the second camshaft. |

Check
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Check the working surfaces of bearings of camshafts and contours of cams of camshafts for wear. With any wear replace the camshaft. If camshaft bearings are worn-out, it is necessary to replace a head of the block of cylinders. |
| 2. Check a condition of workers поверхнос Tay of hydraulic pushers which contact with cams distribute a telny shaft. |

Installation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Apply a thin film of lubricant on the basis of a molybdenum disulfide on contact surfaces of hydraulic pushers of valves and camshafts. |
| 2. Apply a thin layer of sealant on the interfaced surfaces of forward and back covers of bearings of camshafts and establish covers in a head of the block of cylinders. |
| 3. Tighten nuts of fastening of covers of bearings of camshafts by hand, then on a spiral from the center to edge, tighten fastening nuts in a certain sequence, turning each nut on a half of a turn for one pass until each cover does not concern a head of the block of cylinders. Then in the same sequence tighten nuts the required moment in several stages. |
| 4. Weaken a bolt of fastening of a pulley механиз ма tension and move the mechanism lever so that the index was combined with an emphasis. For fixing of the mechanism of a tension in this situation screw up a fastening bolt. |
| 5. Similarly install the second camshaft. |
| 6. Install the ignition distributor. Establish pulleys of camshafts, a new gear belt and adjust its tension. |
