7.1.9. Release bearing
Prevention
At installation of the directing plug of the release bearing it is necessary to use a new sealing ring.

| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. For access to the release bearing it is necessary to remove coupling. |
| 2. Unscrew the bolt fixing a fork of switching off of coupling to an axis of the squeezing lever. |
| 3. If the coupling cable is not disconnected from the transmission yet, remove the bracket fixing a carving tip of a cable of coupling to the squeezing lever and remove a cable tip from the squeezing lever. |
| 4. Remove the release bearing from the directing plug. Take an axis of the squeezing lever from a coupling case, at the same time the axis also has to leave a coupling switching off fork (see rice. Removal of the release bearing from the directing plug, Extraction of an axis of the squeezing lever and removal of a fork of switching off of coupling). In the presence take the release bearing from a plastic ring. |
| 5. Believe the release bearing which has to rotate easily, evenly and silently. The working surface of the bearing influencing a press spring has to be smooth, without cracks, local corrosion or development. With defects the release bearing needs to be replaced. |
| 6. At installation of new coupling the release bearing needs also to be replaced. |
| 7. If necessary unscrew three bolts and remove the directing plug of the release bearing. After removal of the directing plug of the release bearing it is possible to replace a sealing ring of an entrance shaft of the transmission. Remove the sealing ring established between the directing plug and a case of coupling. Using screw-drivers as the lever, take a sealing ring from the directing plug. Using a tubular mandrel of the corresponding diameter, install a new sealing ring in the directing plug. Fill space between working edges of a sealing ring lithium lubricant, then install the directing plug with a new sealing ring. | 8. If necessary, replace plastic plugs of an axis of the squeezing lever for what beat out them from a coupling case, using a drift and the hammer. Install new plugs in a coupling case, at the same time the blocking uvulas of plugs have to enter the corresponding grooves in a coupling case (see rice. Installation of the plastic plug of an axis of the squeezing lever). |

Installation
Tightening of a bolt of fastening of a fork of switching off of coupling
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal taking into account the next moments. |
| 2. Apply a thin film of lubricant on the basis of a molybdenum disulfide on the internal surface of plugs of an axis of the squeezing lever and the external surface of the directing plug of the release bearing. |
| 3. In the presence install the release bearing in a plastic ring, then install the release bearing together with a fork of switching off of coupling on the directing plug. Insert an axis of the squeezing lever into a coupling case and tighten a bolt of fastening of a fork of switching off of coupling (see rice. | 4. Establish coupling. |
| 5. Check and, if necessary, adjust a coupling cable. |
