5.4.10. Check and adjustment of the maximum turns

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Warm up the engine up to the normal working temperature.

2. Press an accelerator pedal against the stop no more than for 2 – 3 seconds and check that the maximum turns of the engine conform to technical requirements.

3. If adjustment is required, switch off the engine, weaken a lock-nut and turn the screw of adjustment of the maximum turns and repeatedly tighten a lock-nut (see the drawing).

4. Repeatedly check the maximum turns of the engine.
