PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. At removal of the water pump from the engine installed in the car merge cooling liquid from the cooling system.
2. On l models 1,4 and 1,6, except C16 NZ2 remove a back casing of a gear belt. On the C16 NZ2 models 1,8 and 2,0 of l take off a gear belt.
3. Remove a pulley of the mechanism of a tension of a gear belt from the oil pump.
4. Unscrew bolts and remove the water pump from the block of cylinders of the engine. Remove a sealing ring (see rice. 5. If necessary remove a back casing of a gear belt from the water pump. chips or considerable wear of a working surface, it is necessary to replace them.
6. If the water pump failed, it needs to be replaced as repair of the pump is not provided.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal taking into account the next moments.
2. At installation of the water pump use a new sealing ring. Before installation of the water pump apply a thin film of silicone lubricant on a nest of the water pump and a sealing ring.
3. The required moment you make tightening of bolts of fastening of the water pump after installation and adjustment of a tension of a gear belt.
4. Establish a gear belt and otregul to a ruyta its tension.
5. Fill in cooling liquid in the cooling system.

DOHC MODELS

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove an engine mudguard.
2. If the water pump is removed from the engine installed in the car merge cooling liquid from the cooling system.
3. Take off a gear belt, pulleys of camshafts and a bent shaft, the mechanism of a tension of a gear belt directing pulleys, and also a back casing of a gear belt.
4. Unscrew bolts and remove the water pump from the block of cylinders of the engine. Remove a sealing ring.
5. If necessary remove a back casing of a gear belt from the water pump.
6. If the water pump failed, it needs to be replaced as repair of the pump is not provided.

Installation

Installation of the water pump
 At installation of the water pump it is necessary to combine ledges on the pump and the block of cylinders (shooter) on DOHC engines.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal taking into account the next moments.  
2. At installation of the water pump use a new sealing ring. Before installation of the water pump apply a thin film of silicone lubricant on a nest of the water pump and a sealing ring.
3. Install the water pump, check that ledges on the pump and the block of cylinders are combined and tighten bolts of fastening of the water pump (see rice. Installation of the water pump).
4. Install the remained earlier removed components and adjust a tension of a gear belt.
5. Fill in cooling liquid in the cooling system and establish an engine mudguard.
