7.2.3. Adjustment of draft of the mechanism of the choice of transfers
Prevention
After carrying out adjustment close a regulator opening in a cover of the mechanism of the choice of transfers by a new stopper.

The gap between a hook (A) and an emphasis (V) has to make no more than 3 mm. |
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. In a motor compartment weaken tightening a bolt, the fixing rod of the mechanism of the choice of transfers to draft (see rice. Arrangement of the tightening bolt fixing a rod of the mechanism of the choice of transfers to draft). On models since 1993 the arrangement of a tightening bolt is changed and access to it is most convenient from under the car. |
| 2. Take the stopper closing an opening for adjustment in a cover of the mechanism of the choice of transfers (see rice. Extraction of a stopper from an opening for adjustment in a cover of the mechanism of the choice of transfers). |
| 3. Turn a rod of the mechanism of the choice of transfers counterclockwise so that the drill with a diameter of 4,5 mm inserted through an opening for adjustment in a cover of the mechanism of the choice of transfers entered an opening in the lever of the choice of transfers (see rice. Installation of a drill). |
| 4. In interior of the car for access to the basis of the lever of gear shifting remove a protective cover of the lever of gear shifting from the central console. |
| 5. The assistant has to hold the gear shifting lever in neutral situation in a point of inclusion of the first/second of transfers. At the same time the lever has to rest against an element of blocking of inclusion of transfer of a backing, and the arrow and a cut have to settle down as it is shown on rice. | 6. On models since 1993 after installation of the lever of gear shifting in situation for adjustment insert the second drill with a diameter of 4,5 mm into an opening in the gear shifting lever. At the same time there is a blocking of the lever of gear shifting for the period of adjustment and the help of the assistant is not required. In this position of the lever tighten tightening a bolt, the fixing rod of the mechanism of the choice of transfers to draft. |
| 7. On models till 1993 check that the gap between a hook (A) and an emphasis (V) in the basis of the lever of gear shifting made no more than 3 mm (see rice. A gap between a hook and an emphasis). |
| 8. Install a protective cover of the lever of gear shifting on the central console. |
| 9. Take a drill from an opening for adjustment in a cover of the mechanism of the choice of transfers and close an opening a new stopper. |
| 10. Check operation of the mechanism of the choice of transfers on single turns of the engine. |
